From Monterey Bay Spice Company

Named for the region of India where they are grown, Assam teas are usually described as bold, malty, and brisk. Assam teas are often principal members of “breakfast teas,” whether English, Irish, or Scottish. This Assam is Tippy Golden Flowery Orange Pekoe (TGFOP) from the Kondoli Estate, which is known for its consistent leaf quality and exquisite liquor. Wonderfully dark leaves create this copper-colored cup, which is full-flavored and delicious!

Rich, malty, steeped 5 min without bitterness! Bright amber liquor with delicious aroma and very little astringency. Great by itself, and just as good with milk and sugar. I bought a pound. Some will be used in blends from Aeon Infusions. Second steep was okay, but maybe not if you have guests.

What if you really don’t like your guests all the much?

@fcmonroe Well then, that’s another matter, isn’t it? ;)
