From Murchie's Tea & Coffee

Amazingly fragrant, the fine, smooth black tea is a perfect base for juicy raspberry taste! Nothing tastes like summer more than the just picked tastes of raspberries. Tangy and sweet with a well rounded flavour and soft fruit aroma.

sample sipdown! thank you cavocorax for sending me this along with a few other teas to try from murchies. This is decent enough blend, though i’m not sure it’s as “raspberry” as i want it to be. The black base in this is fairly smooth and blends well with the flavour.
Thanks again cavo!

so it’s nice but it isn’t THE raspberry tea ?

Sil

no, not THE raspberry tea. I will keep searching for you! ;)

Ysaurella

thank you Sil, dear serial tea drinker :)

Cavocorax

Sorry it wasn’t THE raspberry, but I’ve found the Murchie’s teas to be hit or miss.

This is pretty decent!

As it’s a Murchie’s tea I was worried about astringency so I steeped a double-dose of leaves for 2 minutes and that seems to have been perfect. It’s nice and mild and fruity. I’m looking forward to drinking the rest of this sample!

It’s raspberryish in that tea way, and I love black tea… so this is pretty much as I expected. Not as good as a raspberry earl grey, but good for those mornings when you rrrreaally just want to crawl back into bed.

Is it good enough to get you out of bed in the first place? Because I need something like that… :p

Ozli

Hahaha, no it’s not quite there. You have to be already out of bed, sorry.
