From Murchie's Tea & Coffee

Murchie’s Traditional Chai Tea was previously named Autumn Chai, the delicious tastes of cinnamon, ginger, cardamom and other exotic spices blended with fine black tea will warm your soul, all year long.
Chai teas start with a strong black tea base so the addition of spices does not overpower the tea taste. Enjoyed on its own, or with the addition of milk, Chai tea is flavourful and aromatic.

Instead of the usual spicy cardamom scent this tea smells like cinnamon – I mean REALLY like cinnamon, as in ‘are you sure someone didn’t stick those spicy cinnamon hearts in here?"

The flavour was rather disappointing though, the spices were quite weak to the point that I’m not sure this qualifies as a proper chai blend at all. Definitely not ‘Traditional’.

Another teabag sample. This one is somewhat disappointing. I suppose I like my chais to be cardamom-heavy, and this one kind of tastes mostly like a cinnamon black? I’m sure there’s some other stuff in there, but it’s not all that easy to pick out. I assumed “traditional chai” would be a bit spicier/more flavourful, but I guess not. Wouldn’t really recommend this to anyone looking for anything but a very mild chai. It’s certainly not terrible, but I’ve had much better.
