From Nature's Tea Leaf

Belly Blaster Twist Black Tea is a blend of select black tea leaves, organic rhodiola root and genuine lemon pieces that have been dried to preserve their natural flavor. We have expertly combined these ingredients to bring you a cortisol fighting belly blasting brew. Cortisol is a stress hormone that can lead to an increased production of glucose in the body. This over production of glucose is then converted to fat which generally attacks the body’s midsection. Black tea is known to reduce these cortisol levels. When combined with the adaptogen rhodiola (also known as “Golden Root” in traditional Chinese medicine) the drinker gets a double dose of cortisol fighters. Rhodiola is also effective in improving energy and increasing endurance during exercise while elevating mood and strengthening the immune system.

Thank you Nature’s Tea Leaf for the free sample of this! :)

There is something about this tea that I really LIKE, but something about it that makes me not LOVE it, as well… I REALLY enjoy the smell. In the bag, it really gives me high hopes! I think my problem lies in the fact that I really WANT it to taste creamy and desserty, but alas, the tea is not destined to be a dessert tea (it really SHOULD, though, because if I want to lose weight I want to be curbed from sweets with my tea!!!). It does have a nice, smooth, base, however, which makes it pleasant to drink. So, like I said, I LIKE this tea a lot, I just don’t LOVE it.
