Another travel mug this morning for work. Wanted to see if I tasted the same taste from yesterday. Still there and still perplexed. Never tasted that in a Genmaicha! Maybe my own taste buds are developing?! Enjoying this type of tea, as always.

Steamed japanese sencha with roasted rice and matcha. This tea is high in caffeine and goes wonderfully with sushi and sashimi. The rice gives it a toasty taste, and the matcha adds a deep sweet green tea flavor.
