From Northern Tea Merchants

Formosa Oolong Tea is grown in strictly controlled conditions in Taiwan (formerly Formosa).

It is said that the pickers of this tea must take hot baths twice daily and are given special foods to eat, to prevent the body and breath from hurting the delicate leaves!

Brewing Hints: Infuse in boiling water fot five to seven minutes

Leaf: Large Green & Black Leaves

Origin: Formosa (Taiwan)

Charcteristics: A masterpiece of Tea production! A light, almost ‘peachy’ flavour, guaranteed to satisfy the most jaded palate.

Serving Suggestions: Drink without milk. Excellent after a main meal.

A nice tea,
Very delicate flavour,
Works well served gong-fu style, during multiple infusions the flavour went from a woody earthiness to a slight persimmon-esque flavour.

Although I prefer the company’s Tie Guan Yin to this.
