White Nectar Osmanthus Spring

White Tea, Osmanthus Flowers

Numi’s organic White Nectar™ features Osmanthus, a rare Chinese flower rich in antioxidants. An ancient Chinese poet wrote that it comes from the moon; a bit of the lingering fragrance, makes all the flowers blossom. Its fruity scent enhances the smooth delicacy of Fair Trade Certified Spring White Tea, the tender bud of the tea plant. This radiant blend forms a harmony of luscious sweetness charmed by apricots. Balanced and light, White Nectar™ nurtures the spirit and mind with its abundant health benefits and divine taste.

This was one of the few left in my Numi sampler box. I usually don’t like white teas, but this was lovely, simple, and flowery. There was something “nectary” about it too. The Numi White Rose was slightly better though, just because it had that rose aspect.

This one was pretty tasty. I kept the teabag in there the whole time, and it never got bitter. The taste was nice and slightly sweet and medium (not so light and not so strong). It is floral but not overly so.

Pleasant Scent Prior to steeping – while steeping it morphs into a different smell…must be the flowers…light brown in color. Nice delicate taste. I was thinking it was going to taste similar to a jasmine green tea but it’s very different. It’s good. Very pleasant and light and thirst-quenching.
