I’ve been looking forward to this cup of tea all week – by far my favorite. Steeped 4 minutes with a bit of honey and milk added, it is the taste of strawberry black tea goodness. YUM!

Black Strawberry Tea is a mixture of dried strawberry bits in the exotic Ceylon black tea. Strawberry fruits are aggregates made up of several small fruits, each with one seed called an achene. The flesh of the strawberry is actually an enlarged receptacle, non-reproductive material. Strawberries grow close to the ground and spread by sending out runners. Berries are borne in clusters underneath the leaves. Strawberries are a valuable source of vitamin C. Both the strawberry and Ceylon black tea are from middle part of Asia.
