Ginger is indigenous to southern China, from where it spread to the Spice Islands and other parts of Asia. Chinese herbalist continue to call upon ginger to expel cold and restore depleted yang. In the Middle Ages, ginger was brought to Europe by the Arabic traders. At the time, it was primarily used for ginger tea, said to be effective in fighting colds and flu. The color is brilliant! Reddish-Brown! Lovely! The scent is out of this world! Peachy and a tinge of ginger! You can still taste the black tea but also the flavors! This is a nice tea! A Delight!
