Another sipdown. I saw this tea bag when I opened the cupboard to rummage, and decided I might as well drink it.

It’s pretty good. I’d buy it again as an easy evening tea. There is hibiscus so you have to be careful with timing, but I don’t find it too sour. The ginger is especially nice in the evening. And it makes a fairly decent cold steep herbal tea as well.

Doesn’t go with my dinner at all. :) I’m having gluten free gnocchi in a sage and roasted kabocha sauce.

i was planning on going out when its nicer – take a nice long walk to the store that sells it… but now i dont have to. Unless i run out by then ! Do you like any other PC teas? i have a few on my shopping list.. the chocolate mint is one for sure.

Lala

I also really like cinnamon spice. It’s a black tea, strong cinnamon flavour.

Dug a bag of this out of the Mystery Box of tea on our counter, I don’t know from whence it came, but I was craving something for headache-busting and the ginger sounded good.

This started off as a surprisingly tasty, robust tea. The eponymous ginger and peach balanced each other out for a taste that wasn’t too spicy or wasn’t too sweet. I probably could have steeped it for a little longer to bring out more of the flavour, but I read the bag of the packet as it was brewing and I discovered that there was hibiscus in it, and hibiscus steeped too long becomes the Day of the Triffids of tea.

Unfortunately, as it cooled, the Triffids had their day. The more I drank it, the more I got a back-hint of hibiscus and rubber balloon. Don’t think I’d go for this one again, even though it started out so promising.

Fantastic ginger peach tea, one of my favourites. Fruity, but not obnoxiously though.

Here’s test #2 of my old-stash sipdown.

Let me be clear: I have no idea where this tea came from. My mom moved overseas to teach and my dad was left with her cupboard full of teas. He kept the regular black teas and gave me the rest. I think this was part of that collection.

When I took it out of the sachet, the ginger was overpowering. It almost hurt my nose.

Colour-wise, the hibiscus in this tea makes for a beautiful red colour. I can’t taste any peach, though the ginger is quite lovely. In fact, all I taste is hibiscus and ginger.

Overall, I wouldn’t go out of my way to buy this one. I may just finish the stash and move on.

Meh. The taste is pretty bland compared to how awesome a ginger peach tea could be, even a bagged one. When I drink a ginger tea I want it to be more in-my-face than this. The peach flavouring was just average. Nothing really exciting or new here. Buying a box of this + a box of Earth Teaze’s peach tea kinda turned me off of the flavour for a while.

This is one of my favorite go to teas when I am not feeling well. I love the strong ginger taste. I find the longer you steep it the spicier it tastes. The peach adds a hint freshness. I find this tea calming and relaxing and helps with indigestion. I buy this tea in a tea bag form as I do not drink it very often, so that it will last longer. Out of the many brands I have tried, the Presidents Choice is my favorite for this tea, and it is also on the cheaper side.

I want this to be slightly more flavourful.. I feel like the ultimate tea experience is just around the corner, but I just can’t get there.
Great refreshing tea, love the ginger spice element. Makes me sad that no matter how much I steep it, never seems flavourful enough. Perhaps I will try two bags? Shouldn’t have to do that.
Yummy but missing full potential.

I drank this tea hot. It is fruity with a mild ginger flavor – very pleasant.
