Strawberry & Kiwi

Fruit Tea by PureAromaTea

A bright red berry explosion full of joy and energy – PureAromaTea’s Strawberry and Kiwi fruit infusion smells so good you could eat it! The flavours of strawberries and kiwis complement each other well and the base ingredients of rosehips and hibiscus provide body and substance to help carry and accentuate the flavours.

To brew, put one heaped tsp of Strawberry and Kiwi Infusion per person in a pot or Mug Infuser. Add fresh, boiling water. Brew for 4 mins and serve without milk, perhaps adding a little sugar if desired.

Holy moly…. this smells delicious! Just like strawberry sweets :) It smells rather natural too and very sweet and juicy. I was tempted to eat the raw mixture but managed to behave myself.

This is my lunch tea to help wash down my vegetarian chicken salad cob and watermelon chunks. I decided something fruity would go down nicely.

Once steeped the tea becomes dark red with the same strong yet sweet strawberry scent. So juicy and sweet licks lips.

Just like the smell this tastes sweet, strong and fresh with the strawberry being very dominant, so dominant infact that It’s hard to detect the kiwi. After the sweet strawberry there is an after taste which is slightly sour yet sweet and sharp which reminds me of the taste of fresh kiwi. It’s so sweet that I would never think of adding any sugar, infact I think it would be far too sweet if I did. It still tastes like strawberry jelly sweets or cordial.

I bet this would make a delicious iced tea, I will have to try that theory later.

I’m going to have to agree with Kittylovestea on this one. Man this smells good! It’s very much a strawberry tea, rather than a strawberry kiwi but i forgive it for that because this is a delicious, delicious strawberry tea. I NEED to try this cold brew because if it’s half as good as it is hot. There’s none of the usual bitterness that i seem to find with strawberry green teas..not that this is a green tea but that’s where my mind wandered.

Right off the bat when i sipped this, it made me instantly think of snapple…strawberry kiwi snapple to be specific but without the overwhelming sweetness of snapple. Either way, this is a win because my other half liked it and will drink it in summer…baby steps after all…someday he’ll love cold tea lol

backlog sipdown! I had another cup of this last night but the rest went off with a friend who is looking for more variety in her herbal teas. She’s suffering from a heart arythmia and so her doc has said no more caffeine for a bit. So she came over to raid my cupboard since she knew i’d have a bunch to toss her way lol She was pretty amazed that i have 200+ teas and they all tuck away nicely in my bookcase. I think i’ve given her some ideas lol. I quite enjoyed this tea and will likely pick some up again. :)

Got this in a swap with Kittylovestea.

This tea smells like luscious strawberry. Super sweet and fruity.

The packaging recommended a 4 min steep but I was a bit scared of the hibiscus so I kept it at a 2 min steep and think it turned out wonderful. The brewed tea smells very much like sweet strawberry. The tea tastes like sweet, juicy strawberry jam. There are notes of kiwi underneath the strong strawberry taste. There is a slight hibiscus taste which works well with the fruitiness of the tea. It doesn’t overpower the tea at all. This tea does remind me of strawberry kiwi drinks or candy.

Definitely going to try this one cold brewed.

Thanks so much Kittylovestea!

Finishing off this swap from KittyLovesTea.

Made it as a cold brew. Brewed for about 6 hours. The tea smells so awesome, like strawberry juice.

I am happy I stopped brewing after 6 hours, because the hibiscus is just on the verge of getting too strong. I can taste the strawberry. I would say it tastes similar to other strawberry kiwi flavoured drinks I have had, but I do not distinctly taste any kiwi.

Definitely a good fruity, juicy cold brew!
