Turkish Green Apple from Red Leaf Tea is a very light flavored tea with apples being only a slight flavor in the overall profile. It tastes more of buttered spinach and has a slight salty taste as well. The apples taste to be semi fermented in a sense, as they taste in a hard apple cider yet in this blend very delicate and only a slight bit tart.

There is a creaminess to the mouthfeel, and even a slight cream flavor. Buttery, creamed, spinach with an apple appeal. Haha, get it?

Thank you TeaEqualsBliss for sending this tea my way!

I am really enjoying this. It is delicious and comforting. Smooth and sweet, with just the right amount of tart (that is… not too much!) It tastes fresh and inviting! Nice!!!

Upon first sniff I knew this wasn’t the green tea for me. I don’t enjoy vegetable greens. Smells like asparagus and tart apple. So NOT my tea. The apple made me want to try it. The sip confirmed that it wasn’t my style. Adding to the swap pile.

I was looking for something fruity for a change and thought I would try this for the first time. It’s nifty! It smells like Green Tea and Juicy Sour Apple. I can taste both as well but not overly so. The sour is a good sour and just enough. It has a green tea aftertaste tho.
