Citrus Earl Grey

Black Tea by Red Leaf Tea

Take the tingle from the bergamot orange already in Earl Grey that gives that tingle on the tongue, and add juicier citrus flavor to this classic blend for the ultimate citrus tea. Earl Grey Citrus is a taste sensation for those who love a fruity complex cup of tea. Made with whole loose leaf black tea along with blue mallow blossoms and of course bergamot orange the taste is that of classic Earl Grey with a burst of citrus flavor. This fruity blend is ideal for those who love Earl Grey tea and those who simply enjoy a smooth fruit tea.

This is definitely a morning Earl Grey. Even at only a three-minute steep, it brews a deep copper-to-brown like an Assam or Keemun. It’s like someone took an English Breakfast blend and machine-pressed orange juice into the batch. It smells more citrus than bergamot, even tastes that way too; because of that, it’s not as sour. However, this is in no way a detraction. It’s a very good morning cup without any sour dryness. Does the trick on the wake-up, too.
