We were able to get some of this for the office, I am trying to upgrade us to slightly better stuff even though I drink loose leaf tea most of the time anyway.

This was steeped via regular mug method and they’re teabag sachets. I like ginger and I like the black assam/ceylon blend here. My only beef with this one is the peach flavoring is a bit too sweet and artifical for my tastes. I feel like I’m eating a jolly rancher or something… I may try to make iced tea out of this, it might be better that way.

After lunch tea — I thought I’d revisit this since I had a HUGE vegetarian burrito for lunch and maybe something with ginger would be good. This still tastes like a huge bunch of fake peach with hardly any ginger detectable. I’m still not a big fan as you may be able to ascertain.

Second bagged tea of the day yesterday. Definitely peachy. With a bite that is supposed to be ginger and I could identify as ginger, but was also a kind of off ginger taste. Not quite sure how to explain. It wasn’t yucky or anything. Black tea base was a little lighter than the previous tea, but I could still taste it. I cannot remember if I steeped this one for 3 or 4 minutes, but it was one of the two.

Drank when my mom got home. We both had cups of tea. And while studying briefly before dinner, which was thick cut breaded but baked pork chops with grainy mustard, black pepper roasted brussel sprouts, and sweet potato gnocchi with cinnamon and brown sugar browned butter.

Rating this one a 55 (nice bagged tea range 50-60).

Backlogging. 8 days ago. Friday evening.

The February Backlog: From the 1st to today.

I drank this one in the evening at my parent’s an hour or two after we’d returned from an early dinner that involved a Mahi Mahi BLT, cumber and tomato salad, and two apricot IPAs followed by a short nap.

Backlogging. 2 days ago. Thursday morning.

Drank this one at my parent’s late morning while online then studying.

This is really tasty. I think I may have oversteeped it slightly because I forgot to set the timer… but, surprisingly, it doesn’t taste bitter (I say surprisingly because this is an Assam blend, and I usually expect Assam to become bitter when it’s oversteeped). It is a good, strong tea with a lovely peach and ginger flavor. The tea is the strongest flavor (as it should be) with lovely sweet peach notes and a hint of ginger’s fire.

I like the way this one comes together. Very enjoyable.

Okay, this one smells really delicious. Like ginger and peaches and lovely stuff like that. Really heady and strong. My dad kept stealing the teabag from me and sniffing the contents and oohing and ahhing.

The bag is really cute too. Some sort of silky fabric, and inside… TEA. Like, actual leaves. This makes me very, very happy. I was very tempted to go in there and FREE THE LEAVES but I figured I should try to steep this puppy up the way it’s meant to be steeped: in the bag.

Anyway, since my friend at work gave me the bag, I had no idea what the parameters were. So I just steeped this up for a bit, and… yeah. The tea doesn’t smell as good as the dry. There’s a bit of a musky/musty order, and the black tea smells a bit dusty. But it’s not that bad.

So I go in for the sip and… hrm. The black tea here is pretty bitter. The ginger peeps through and then trounces your tongue. Bounces on it like a trampoline and says “HAI THURR.” It dissipates into a peach flavor that’s actually pretty okay-tasting, except for the fact that there’s a peach hand lotion taste to it. Like if you’ve ever licked your hand after putting on lotion. That sort of creamy/icky/soapy taste. Yeah. I don’t know what it’s doing in there, since I don’t wear lotion, or maybe it’s just some weird by-product, but anyway…

This one was a bit bizarre. Successive sips made it taste better, and when it cooled it tasted a bit better and sweeter, but I couldn’t get past the hand lotion taste. And the bitterness of the black.

Sigh. Well, tomorrow’s Friday and I’ll be able to steep some lovely stuff at home! Looking forward to the NOMNESS.

This one’s just all right. It smells nice before its made, but the flavor is unimpressive — you can’t taste the peach! I keep it around for when I’m not feeling well and want something with ginger.

I bothered to steep this twice for once. I detect a bit more fruit flavor in the second steep, but it could still do with about twenty times more.

This is a perfect warm-weather tea, and I can also see it making a great iced treat as part of a lemon/tea cocktail. I’ve only ever had ginger with Puerhs, where the ginger would need to compete with the strong earth notes, so this was a new experience.
This is a blend of Assam and Ceylon, therefore the ginger is milder. It warms the cup, but you can still taste the black tea flavor profile. The peach is pleasant in the aroma, in the cup it’s not overwhelming – which is how I personally feel flavored tea should be done. You should still be able to discern whether the base tea is good or not. While I’m not tasting extraordinary maltiness or the typical Assam astringency, it still tastes like a good quality cup.
I purchased this flavor as a mini tin Revolution Tea traveler – the tin contains 6 mesh infuser bags. I do believe I’ll replenish the tin when I’m done, it’s a relaxing post-meal tea that I look forward to getting to know better in subsequent days.
Steeped for 2 minutes with just-under-boiling water. 2nd steep, around 5 minutes with cooler water. No major difference apart from a weaker peach aroma

This smells mostly like peach. I steeped it up. This tastes like peach with abit of ginger and black tea. The color is even light in the cup. i think this is pretty good with I would say a medium peach taste with a simple black tea and abit of ginger that is not overly spicy.

This is a pretty good tea. I also like that Revolution carries it in Decaf!

I love this tea! It smells heavenly and brews up a nice fruity light cup of tea. I wish it was more available locally. I used to be able to get it at Target but no more. I have ordered it online because I like it so much, but tend to nurse the box along so I don’t run out.

It’s a bagged tea, so I don’t really worry about oversteeping. I just leave the bag in the mug. I don’t even use a teacup for this one.

Tried this tea for the first time this morning and I was impressed.

I used two of the tea bags because I drink out of a big University of Oregon mug. It has a very full body that does not lack in peach flavor. The ginger is balanced very well, not at all overpowering. Would be improved even more if I had honey to add to it.

The one downside to this tea that I experienced is that the tea bag before steeping smells kind of like peach liquor, a weird alcoholesque smell, not at all pleasing.

Had this tea on my shelf for a month before I broke into it, biggest mistake ever, one of my favorite bagged teas, amazingly sweet and full of flavor.

This is pretty good. A treat with milk and sugar, but I have a feeling it would be even better iced. Very peachy after-taste, yum yum.

Okay, I’m dropping this down a bit because it now makes me nauseous.

This is exactly as described – sweet, gingery and peachy. Needs no sweetening. The black tea seems to be very good quality and tasty. Altogether, not a tea I would have expected to find on the shelf at the local grocery store.

The aroma was VERY peachy while it was steeping. I think I would have preferred it slightly less sweet, but it was a nice peach flavor – I didn’t notice ginger at all. I drank this black.

I love this tea! I tasted some from local cafe and instantly fell in love. I would say however that it does taste better as an iced tea than as a hot tea.

steeped extra long, milk, sugar. this smelled minty out of the box and tasted minty out of the cup. the tea itself isn’t a bad quality but the ginger overwhelms it a bit. it’s not as smooth as republic of tea’s lower quality, but nummier ginger peach tea.

Excellent!!! LOVE THIS! Awesome aroma but still a great black tea. Sure you can taste the peach as well as ginger highlights but you can still taste the black tea too! Brilliant! I’m on the 3rd resteep!

Still enjoy this tea. Some teas I have a problem with ginger. For some reason the ginger content in this tea is just a happy medium. Nice! LOVE the smell before, during, and after steeping, too! Doesn’t leave a bad aftertaste so that is always a plus. Looking forward to getting another tea from Revolution in the near future, I hope…

Seriously…this must be the perfect amount of ginger I can handle…just there…not over powering…LOVE it! The Peach is more prominent but I like that!

I seem to be very fickle today. This tea has helped a little but I am still looking for the perfect tea that stomps the fickleness. This is great iced, too, btw!

YUM

Just Because. But still nice.

Back to Black Flavored Teas – just trying to get thru the afternoon, ya know!?

forgot to log at the end of the work day!

Backlogging – 2 cups yesterday – LOVED it!

Oversteeped. Very nice. Also good for 2nd – lite – infusion. Tasty.

I really like this one. True Black Tea but great Peachy Flavor. NICE.
