This is a cute lil single-serving bag from Hesper June – thanks!!!!

It doesn’t have much of a scent to it. It brews to a medium brown. The taste is a more gentle English Breakfast Type. It’s a mellower yet relaxing black tea. It’s not very potent but it’s alright! Soooo glad I got to try it!

Hesper June

Those little packets are so fun:-)
Revolution sent me a bunch in my last order.

TeaEqualsBliss

Coool! The boxes were CUTE :)

LiberTEAS

I need to place an order with this company soon, from what I understand, they provide the tea to PF Chang’s and I really loved the tea that I had there for lunch on my last visit, but I was busy “reviewing” the food to really jot down my notes about the tea to review it…

TeaEqualsBliss

They sell the bagged at Wegmans :) I will try and pick some up the next time I go :) And Share Liberteas :)

Hesper June

Yes, LiberTEAS, they DO provide PF Chang’s tea!
That is where I first had their tea and actually is what got me back into tea in the first place:)

LiberTEAS

Yes, they sell this brand at my local grocery stores as well, but, I don’t trust grocery stores with tea … I’ve found too many disturbing trends with grocery stores selling teas well past their expiration dates.

This is a very enjoyable English Breakfast blend. The blend is very robust and strong, exactly what I want from a breakfast blend. It has a rich, delicious flavor. One of the better bagged English Breakfast blends that I’ve tried, but it is still limited by its sachet.

What’s funny about this one, at least to me, is its source: the Flying J Truckstop on I-44 just east of Joplin MO. (Revolution just seemed a little upscale for the venue.) And be ready for a long wait if you ask just to buy the teabag…that really throws the clerk!

No particular standout characteristic, but it’s smooth and pleasant. Nice on its own, didn’t need dairy to tone anything down.

Ellyn

Love that you found a good tea at that location. What a nice surprise!

I found this full leaf bag tea in the cupboard in its own cute little travel tin and I have no idea how long its been in there but Yum! I added sugar in the raw to this and have enjoyed it more than any black tea so far. It’s the same ingredients as my adagio black teas but for some reason, this one is highly satisfying!

This is the first time I’ve tried tea with sugar in the raw so that might be why and I must try it with my other black teas.

More about this one, it just has a rich taste without any bad aftertaste.
I don’t particularly like it steeped twice but I’m probably over doing it.  It looks just like my loose leaf!
I’m happy to say this cup definitely brightened my morning.

Had it this afternoon at at cafe. They serve about 6 diff Revolution teas and I realized this was the only choice I hadn’t tried. What can I say? It’s English Breakfast, which to me = plain old tea. My palate is not experienced enough to find the nuances between style black blends yet. I know EB’s not as strong/malty as Irish Breakfast, that’s about it. I can tell this is a decent quality because it brewed up smooth, not bitter or astringent, and took sugar and half&half well. Otherwise it’s unmemorable though. It’s still just “plain tea” to me.

If English Breakfast is your basic black, this is your little black dress. The swanky bag is about as close as you can physically get to loose tea.

I have to agree with the other person who said it is a plain old tea… this about sums it up. I was disappointed with this tea after loving Revolution’s tropical green. This is… okay. Giving me some caffeine, which is much needed. My extra tea drinking has been leading to me staying up much later than usual — I need to have a cut-off point in the early afternoon, but for now at work in the morning I need a strong black tea.

I came back to this tea after letting it cool down a bit and found the flavor to be much improved. It’s still plain old black tea, though! Good in a pinch, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to buy it. If you enjoy mild English breakfasts give it a go.
