I’m not impressed, which saddens me a litle because I like Rington’s other teas. It’s very grassy and light, so someone else may adore it but I prefer deeper and more malty flavours from an oolong. It’s drinkable though, so I’ll finish the rest of the bag.

Our Jade organic Oolong tea is sourced from 8 smallholder farms surrounding the Bao Kang mountains, close to the city of Xinfeng in the Chinese province of Hubei.
Blend InformationPure Green Organic Oolong tea, organically grown in China.
Tasting NotesThe extent of oxidation of the Jade Oolong is only slight, and hence it is more akin to a green tea, but the flavour is much more complex and interesting, with a subtle sweetness. As with all Oolongs, the flavour develops in successive infusions.
Caffeine Guide Low
Infusion InstructionsFresh water at 85-90C and allow 2-3 minutes for the first infusion.
Then 20-30 seconds is enough for each successive infusion after the leaves have fully opened. The leaves can be infused many times.
