Kabuse-Cha “Orihime” is possibly the best quality tasting green tea in the world with beautiful and perfectly shaped bright green, silky leaves.
This high grade tea was produced from the first flush season. After the tea bushes started to grow again, they were shielded from the direct sun by bamboo screens to slow down the photosynthesis process in the leaves, and just after 14 days of growing they were harvested.
This method of growing gives this tea mellow sweet aroma, fresh, slightly nutty taste and a bright green cup.
This tea wonderfully combining the best of Gyokuro and Sencha teas.
Because it is expensive and the finest quality tea, it is saved even in Japan for very special occasions and guests.
Brewing method: brew 1 teaspoon per cup, water temperature 70C/158F. Infuse for 2 min. Don’t forget that you can use the same tea leaves up to five infusions.
