Thank you to TeaEqualsBliss for sending me this one.

I’m really enjoying this. It isn’t a strong “earl grey” – that is, the bergamot is quite subtle. But, it is still really good. It has a stronger floral quality than a citrus quality, but it isn’t the typical bergamot floral/perfume-y kind of taste that is sometimes tasted with Earl Grey, but rather, it is a soft and sweet kind of flower note that melds quite nicely with the other flavors of the tea, and mellows the citrus notes out just enough so that they taste less tangy and a bit on the sweeter side.

An enjoyable twist on the classic.

I’m always looking for something OTHER than run-of-the-mill Earl Grey and this one fits the bill today!

Sure it’s floral but that is the draw with this one! Very nice!

Found this on artfire, and couldn’t resist trying out a new Earl blend.

This is a rather nice blend. It’s creamy, and the bergamot is subtle, but very well-done. Definitely one of the better Earl blends that I’ve had.

I even got a sample of another tea from the company. My only complaint is that neither tea was labeled, so I had to go to the website and guess which tea was my sample based on the pictures. So that does knock the rating down a bit for me.

It’s shaping up to be a nasty, rainy day here in the Bluegrass. And rainy days translate to pot after pot of Earl Greys for me. I had actually set this one up last night anticipating the weather, so it was waiting on me when I rolled out of bed. I really enjoy this blend; the bergamot scent is so very strong in the dry leaf, but is much more subdued in the actual brewed cup. Very, very nice to have on a rainy Tuesday morning.
