Spiced Apple Cider Tea

Black Fruit Blend by SBS Teas

Fabamazing (new word) tea! This tea rocks the casbah of your taste buds and your soul. Who needs plain tea when you can indulge in a spicy tango never to be forgotten. Fall apple, cider spices, and sweet orange make the crowd go wild!

Ingredients:
China black tea, cinnamon, apple, clove, allspice, orange peel and natural flavors. This blend contains caffeine.

Brewing Instructions:
As with all top quality teas, scoop 2-4 teaspoons of tea into the teapot . Pour in fresh boiling water, steep for 2-4 minutes (to taste), stir (virtually all the leaves will sink), strain and pour into your cup, add lots of milk, and SBS Teas sugar to taste.
Iced Tea Instructions:
Place 6 teaspoons of tea into a teapot or heat resistant pitcher. Pour 1 1/4 cups of freshly boiled water over the tea. Steep for 5 minutes. Quarter fill a serving pitcher with cold milk. Pour the tea into your serving pitcher straining the leaves. Add ice and garnish and sweeten to taste. Makes 1 liter/quart

Tastes mostly like spices. There’s a hint of apples in the back, but not much. I’m going to try mixing it with Adagio’s sour apple next and see if I get more of a “apple cider” taste (but probably not, since that would add hibiscus… but that’s the only apple that I have).

It’s not bad, but not outstanding.

(and now I think I’m all caught up)
