tai ping hou kui
This is another sample from Upton. The directions stated to use 2-3 tsp. It’s hard to measure when the leaves are as long as this tea. The aroma is lite and the taste is delicate. Aroma and taste are not everything. I look for how the tea makes you feel as well. Like the unknown Chinese Poet states: The first cup moistens my lips… The second cup breaks my lonliness The third cup searches my barren entrail The fourth cup raises a slight perspiration The fifth cup purifies me The sixth cup calls me to the realm of the immortals The seventh… I can take no more. This tea has that quality….
