The roommate and I mixed this into our vanilla ice cream tonight. So good. This batch is grassy-sweet, and almost buttery.
flavour profile: an aromatic & incomparable tea that is intense yet subtle
ingredients: Japanese ceremonial green tea made from gyokuro tea leaves. Gyokuro tea is high in chlorophyll as a result of unique growing conditions. The leaves are covered with cloths or bamboo curtains, under which they develop a rich green colour. The tea leaves are steamed, dried, then ground into a fine, bright green powder. Our tins yield more cups of matcha tea than loose leaf teas because matcha is a concentrated powder, and less of it is required per cup.
