While strictly taken not a Ti Kuan Yin, the Anxi Oolong has the leaf appearance of a superior Ti Kuan Yin and is manufactured in the same method. Its rich, sweet flavor and a long, pleasant finish make it a superb value. Use a generous amount of leaves and enjoy multiple infusions. Also great when chilled.
This is an absolutely delicious oolong. Very sweet and aromatic.
This is probably the best oolong I’ve had (although I’ve admittedly only had a few). I got 3 good steeps at like 2:30, 2:45, 3:00 minutes with 195 degree water. Tastes a lot like a ti kuan yin but a bit lighter and even a bit sweeter.
On my way out the door with a mug of this. Tastes like steel-cut oatmeal with a nice honey finish. I tend to like heartier, more savory oolongs, so I like this a lot.
