Very much like a good first flush Darjeeling in both color and taste. Floral, fruity and slightly astringent. Don’t oversteep it.
This quite remarkable semi-fermented Darjeeling consists of bold dark leaves that infuse to a flowery fragrant cup with a light fruitiness. In essence, a combination of the characteristics of a Darjeeling and an Oolong. We cupped several new Darjeeling Oolongs and found this one to be by far the most interesting. A “quiet” tea with many nuances.
