Decaf Lemon and White Tea

White Tea by Stash Tea Company

White tea, made from the carefully selected leaves of a special variety of the tea plant, is renowned for its delicate flavor and antioxidant properties. Lemongrass and pure lemon oil add a slight tartness that complements the white tea without overpowering its subtle essence. This tea is naturally decaffeinated for a soothing cup any time of day.

I got this in a care package today from a fantastic friend – she sent an adorable little teacup, and chocolate cookies, and tea! So happy.

This is… okay. It doesn’t have the delicacy that I like in whites, and I’m not huge on the whole lemongrass thing. But it’s soothing, and it isn’t bad – it’s not like it’s full of ginger or something. It’s good with a bit of honey, and it’ll probably be good on sore-throat days.

The water at the wellness center where I had the tea was not as hot as I like nowadays, so the tea came out weak. It seems decent, though I haven’t been too impressed with the varieties by Stash that I’ve tried. It was definitely lemony, though.

This tea is very light. I enjoy it especially when I’m not feeling too good – either headache or sore throat. It warms me while at the same time calms. The lemon is just a hint … very delicate & soothing. Much better for me than a cough drop. Tastes good even after it cools.

Pretty bland and innocuous compared to what I was expecting.

This is a very decent bagged tea. The lemon is fresh and tart, and the tea is light and delicate. I imagine it’d be delicious iced.
