I tried this Dragonwell for the first time last night and I loved it. It’s got a fabulous flavor. I was trying to relax from a long weekend so my brain wasn’t all that up for waxing poetic about flavor.

I steeped this three times in a small gaiwan. The first time I did about three and a half minutes, which was perfect. I resteeped it for less time (I was a bit impatient) so I did 1 minute, which was a tad too light. Third time I left it in for closer to four minutes and the flavor was strong but not bitter.

All in all a lovely tea that I would always want to keep on hand. I think this one might actually supplant Gyokuro as my favorite green tea.
