This is a very cool looking tea. The tightly spiral-rolled shape reminds me of the Blue Unicorn that I had yesterday, only the “horns” are much more slender here, as they are comprised of a single leaf, rolled into a horn shape.

After the first infusion, the leaves remained almost as tightly rolled as they were dry, so you know I need to infuse this again (and maybe again after that!) My first reaction after my first sip was – Pepper! I could taste a distinct spice tone that now, after a couple of sips tastes a bit more like cinnamon than of pepper. Very warm and pleasant.

The overall flavor is very tasty – lightly vegetative (not nearly so grassy as the aroma of the dry leaf would suggest) and smooth, with hints of spice and a honeysuckle note toward the end of the sip. Sweet and yummy!
