My second Chai of the morning and I’m hoping it bears better than the first one. At least this is another teabag sample to leave my cupboard.

I have added a splash of milk to this tea but no sweetener.

It smells and tastes strongly of dry cinnamon and it also leaves a bit of dryness on my tongue in the after taste. It’s not a strong Chai by any means and the cinnamon is over powering most of the other flavours, the only things I can sort of taste is cardamom and clove. It’s more cinnamon spice really than actual Chai. I don’t mind it being decaf but it is on the light side.

It’s nicer than my cup this morning but nothing special and not what I would want to buy again.

Awful. Awful awful. This stuff just makes your water (or water and milk) taste like water with some cinnamon added. Does it taste like chai masala (spice tea)? No. Does it taste like tea at all? No. This stuff is a waste of packaging, and the itty bits of spices in the bags are good enough for the compost pile and little else. : (

1 bag for 250mL water, bare.

As with Stash’s decaf Earl Grey, much nicer when steeped with water just off the boil versus boiling. Treat this blend as a green, and it will serve up nicely spiced black tea without bitterness. I’d suggerst steepig no more than 4 minutes; after that, the cloves can take over and add a medicinal taste. This is a bagged and decaffed tea, so keep those limitations in mind.

this is my lazy chi that i just adore it’s is bagged but for a bagged tea it’s still has wonderful flavor adding vanilla soy adds sugar and a vanilla twist to the end of it.(if u don’t like soy try the almond vanilla milk)

I think this is what I am drinking right now. Its freezing cold here: 31 degrees, so I finally turned on the heat, and its only sort of working. I’m having oatmeal and tea to stay warm. I love chai.

This tea has a simple, deep chai flavor. There was no noticeable bitterness, and I think it actually would have been okay to steep it a little bit longer, although it was by no means bland. Although I don’t usually like my tea with milk, chai is definitely one that goes fine with it.

Not a big chai person, but this one is pretty decent. I like that I can brew a full travel mug (about 14 ounces) with a single bag. Add some almond milk and stevia for a nice, mild chai.
