From sTEAp Shoppe

A fruity Oolong loose leaf tea that will delight your taste buds with it’s floral fruity presence. This colorful tea would make a spectacular Fruity Iced Tea. Apples and Cranberries are a classic fruit combination that give the floral bouguet of loose leaf Oolong tea a burst of sweet and tart to make a well rounded full bodied tea.

I don’t know why I thought the virtual tea tasting was today. As I was in the kitchen prepping dinner, I thought, Uh oh! I missed the virtual tea tasting! Now I see that I didn’t miss it at all. That’s cool though, I’ve got a couple of other teas to try that I can taste for the tea tasting next week.

I’m really glad that I requested this Oolong as my “other” tea. It’s quite good. Cranberry isn’t a flavor I’d normally match with Oolong but they balance each other out really nicely. The cranberry tastes less tart than usual, but there is still a very distinct cranberry flavor to this. The same is true of the apple – it isn’t a strong flavor, but it’s still there. I can still taste it, and everything sort of melds together in a delicious, seamless way.

The Oolong is a more fruity than a floral Oolong, but there are faint floral notes too. The fruity tones work well with the cranberry and apple flavors. They work together very harmoniously – it’s a very satisfying taste. This is a tea I’d want to drink on Thanksgiving, it has an autumnal taste and it also tastes special enough to serve to guests for the holiday.

I don’t comprehend virtual tea tasting…so not doing it. Good luck!

Hmm. Maybe I underleafed, because this is awfully weak. I suppose that is possible, given the amount of fruit here! Anyhow, I can’t really taste any oolong, but am definitely tasting real, tart cranberry, which is quite lovely! I’ll either infuse longer next time or add more tea… this has potential, but this cup definitely doesn’t fully explore it.

I really tried to wait until the tea tasting but this one was just calling my name! The aroma is very different from what I expected. It’s very warm and fruity.. It almost reminds me of a pie.. I can even smell the warm crust.
The flavor of this oolong is very light. I can taste the cranberry and apple but they aren’t as tart as I would have expected them to be. There are some floral notes but, they are super light. I enjoyed this tea! It’s perfect when you’re in the mood for a lighter oolong :] Thank you!

I been sipping on this one a little bit today and yesterday because the weather around here has been cool like in the fall, This is a nice one very light and fruity, the taste of the apple and cranberry go together so nicely that i can’t single them out separately because they unite as one delicious unique flavor and the flavor of the tea itself is a nice light oolong with faint floral notes. I should have gotten this one around Christmas or Thanksgiving time because it would have been perfect with some Thanksgiving turkey :)
I also enjoy eating the fruits out of it after I drink it that makes it even better, Yummy!!!
