The flavor is incredibly floral, even from the very beginning. In some ways, it is reminiscent of a very floral Ti Kwan Yin. For a roasted oolong, the roast flavor is not too heavy. Smooth drinking and infinitely sippable. 30 second infusions. Very resteepable.
Golden Monkey Oolong
Picked on the first clear day of the Spring Oolong season in the famed Wuyi Mountains of Northern Fujian, China. Hand picked from a very fragrant tea tree varietal, this premium Oolong offers nuances of spiced plums with a rich, lingering finish in the mouth. The farm that makes this tea uses highly regarded old plots that have been cultivated for centuries. 2 teaspoons of Golden Monkey Oolong can be infused with boiling water (200-212 degrees) up to 6 times.
