Clara's Tea

Rooibos Tea by Talbott Teas

You’re all dressed up for a magical tea party, and Clara from The Nutcracker has brought her favorite caffeine-free blend. Add milk and sugar to the real strawberries and rose petals, and the dancing will never end!

Ingredients
All natural premium ingredients: Rooibos, strawberry pieces, rose petals, blue cornflowers petals, natural vanilla and strawberry flavors.

This tin comes wrapped snugly in a beautiful pink organza bag with a pink and white striped hair ribbon attached. Pretty enough for Clara herself!

Sipdown, 244. I am sipping down this and another fruity rooibos that I got in a swap, although I no longer remember exactly from whom. Seems like it could have been an envelope from TeaEqualsBliss? In any case, thanks who ever sent it.

I am coming to the conclusion that fruity rooibos is not for me. Generically tart fruity? Check. Smells like cough medicine? Check. Oh well, I know what to avoid, now.

A Lovely Concept Tea – I guess you could call it or NovelTEA would be a better term to use here…it gets points for that! The contents scared me a little because of the Hibiscus! BUT…with the rose, strawberry, and vanilla – it seemed to defeat the hibiscus! I’m not saying that the hibiscus still isn’t noticeable – just not as much as I thought it was going to be! I really assumed it was going to be ALL hibiscus! Thankfully there is much more to this tisane!

I tried this HOT – plain. Pretty good…pretty tart but the strawberry is more tart than the hibiscus. COLD is better for this one – plain. I guess COLD or ICED I can appreciate the tartiness a little better.

This says to add sugar and milk to it. I might be daring and add Rice Milk just because I have it on hand but I don’t have any sugar at the moment. Might try and play with it later.

This is alright…a fun tea but since I am not a girlie-girl and am not a Hibiscus fan it won’t make my top percentile. BUT…I’m sure glad I got to try this!!!

Decupboarding this! Sending the last lil bit to Azzrian – it’s a bit puckery but still decent. I like it better iced.

This is just an okay tea. I thought that it sounded delicious in its description, but I’m honestly just tasting hibiscus.. rooibos with a whole lot of TART flavor! The sweetness that I’m wanting is mostly in the scent and a tiny bit at the tail end of the sip. I’ll finish the cup, but I’m not crazy about this tea. Thanks, TeaEqualsBliss!

This is pretty good, despite the hibiscus in it. I added some sugar to it to offset the tartness of the hibiscus and it makes for a sweet yet tasty cup. I like the creaminess of the vanilla together with the strawberry taste.

It’s a nice cup, not my favorite from Talbott Teas but not terrible either.
