This is my first taste of Talbott Teas. Many of you know that I have had a hard time with Hibiscus in the past…so…I am a little afraid. This is steeping right now.
While it’s ‘doing it’s thang’ I thought I would comment on their website and tins! Eventho I am trying one of their bagged teas I think their tins are neat and the names of the teas are certainly intriguing. I’m looking forward to trying more from this company! Their website is very user friendly!
The blend of this Rooibos Mix is colorful and smells sweet. The liquid after steeping is light brown.
The taste is very rooibos and believe it or not cuts the tartness of the fruit, THANK GOD. They seemed to blend well…but that darn hibiscus still haunts me.
Keeping in mind that I am not fond of hibiscus – this is fairly good. I am surprised therefore I will score a little higher. Altho I doubt I would even purchase this I am glad I tried it and looking forward to more from this company.
