From Taylors of Harrogate Yorkshire Gold

“With the Assam season behind us, now’s the time of year when Rwandan tea reaches its absolute peak. Our expert tea buyers love Rwandan tea for its wonderfully bright character but this particular tea really got them excited. Grown at high altitude in rich volcanic soil, it’s uniquely crisp and refreshing – in their words it’s like ‘turning the lights on in your cup’.”

When steeped perfectly, this tea is amazing. It has absolutely no bitterness, and I can drink it completely black. I love it first thing in the morning. I’d recommend steeping 2 and a half minutes, or 3 if you like it a bit stronger but NO longer than that, and the water should be freshly boiled!
