Refresh

Herbal Tea by Tazo

One of Tazo’s Herbal Infusions, Refreshâ„¢ is a blend of northwest grown peppermint and spearmint leaves and features the sweet licorice-like taste of tarragon.

Even though this type of beverage is often described as an herbal tea, there is actually no tea in it at all. Instead it’s a blend of leaves and herbs that has been used for centuries to enhance health and well being. As a result, it contains no caffeine.

Best mint tea, hands down. When I’m craving a mint tea, this is my go-to. Something about the tarragon in the blend balances the peppermint so well. Plus, the iced version is the best thirst quencher on a hot summer day!

This is my go-to when I have an upset stomach — the mint really helps. I leave the bag in to maximize the mintiness, but that might be too much for some people. I know many people don’t like Tazo, but my unrefined palate doesn’t mind it.

This is my go-to for an upset tummy! Aah… cooling and nice. I’m a vegetarian and I accidentally ate some meat at dinner. I think it is disagreeing with me, but this tea is just the ticket.

A marginal mint tea that’s rescued by the odd tarragon partnering. This is probably the best of the Tazo teas I’ve tried. I keep imagining this is due to the fact this is a tea made of herbs and actually has no tea in it (because the tea dust passed off generally as ‘tea of high caliber’ by Tazo is pretty awful). A decent tea when you need to come off a Starbucks buzz.

I recently purchased a bunch of tazo teas and Refresh was one of them. The first time I made this tea I was like ok it’s ok but nothing great. Then I came down with the flu and was nauseated. This is the perfect tea for feeling bad in any way. I can definately taste the combination of peppermint and spearmint. They overpower the tarragon, but that’s fine with me as it is a mint tea and is called refresh, which it tastes like a mint tea and does refresh. Now, the tarragon is very subtle but when you are sick that licorice from the tarragon really settles your stomach. I like my hot tea HOT and my iced tea cold. I steep this for 5 minutes. If I wasn’t sick I would give this tea a rating in the 60’s maybe low 70’s, however when your nauseated, which in my opinion is the worst feeling in the world as well as having the flu or a cold there in no number high enough for something that tastes good and makes you feel comfortable. The mintyness really is great for that post nasal drip. This tea has wonderful medicinal properties. The only negative tea as someone who likes their tea hot is that bc of the mintyness the tea seems cooler and I have to reheat it as I like to sip and savor my tea and reheating the tea changes the taste and makes it more bitter.

You can definitely tell this isn’t an actual tea, and that’s okay. I would suggest this as a nice little pick me up if you’re feeling sick or for children/adults who haven’t really adjusted to the normal tastes of teas.

I have constant stomach troubles and this tea is my saving grace. It’s a classic peppermint tea with bit of spiciness added to it, which I feel is the tarragon. I don’t necessary taste the licorice in the tarragon.. I add a little bit of honey to it and bring it to class in a travel mug almost every morning. I prefer a refreshingly minty tea over caffeinated coffee any day.

So this is the best of the TAZO collection that I have tasted thus far. I really don’t know why I have so lack of a love for this company, but I swear it’s because the teas are just so overpowering and lacking in an actual taste. I tried this tea as per a reccomendation of a fellow steepster and it’s not completely bad, like I said, def one of the best TAZO tea I have tried. This tea was somewhat relaxing and soothing when I drank it. If I go to starbucks again, that is what I will order.

I’ve always hated mint tea… But I guess I could see why people can like it.
Tazo mint tea is by far the best I’ve tried.
And it’s called ‘refresh’ for a reason – hahah
It’s like a wave of cold (but hot) just washing over your mouth, nose and even eyes lol

My favourite Tazo tea. Very nice and soothing on an under-the-weather sort of day. Despite the lack of caffeine, I find Refresh to awaken me more than any other Tazo tea. Definite favourite. Quite strong, so only one bag is necessary! My favourite peppermint tea I’ve found so far.

I tried many mint teas in the past, I per the herbal ones rather then the ones with black or green tea.

like the title suggest it is refreshing, it smell and taste refresh the mind. I hate it when people compare mint tea to gum. What do you expect? both mint tea and gum are flavored with mint. I regress, maybe mint tea is not for them

Had bagged tea at work today. I was feeling dizzy and nauseous, so I decided to find some mint tea. There’s little to no tarragon in this one. The mint flavor was really nice, but I think the water was too hot for the tea and scorched the flavor out. It soothed my stomach, that’s for sure.

The best mint blend I’ve ever had. It is a great to accompany yerba mate with it. I find when I do mix it with yerba mate it brings the caffeine out really well.

I actually like this tea. It is very minty, but with a touch of tarragon it has a mildly different flavor than straight mint teas. I often drink this tea after dinner, before bed, or when I feel sick.

I like this particular herbal blend, but now that I’m partly through the box, I realize I really bought it for the mint flavor, and I would prefer it to be 100% peppermint. That’s okay though, I will just keep using it until it’s gone, then go back to an 100% peppermint.

As herbal teas go, this is one of my favorites. Hot, it’s incredibly soothing to the nerves, while icing it makes it perhaps one of the most refreshing beverages I think I’ve ever had. When I worked at Starbucks, this was the tea I usually drank (especially while I was pregnant), and not a shift went by without my drinking at least three cups of it.

Tastes great. Sometimes straight mint teas are too strong for my liking, but Refresh has a very nice balance. I can’t pick out the tarragon, but that’s probably what mitigates the normally overpowering mint presence.

This pretty much is a straight mint tea. If there was Tarragon in it, I couldn’t taste it.

I first experienced Tazo Refresh, peppermint, spearmint, and tarragon, mixed with Tazo Awake, a wonderful black tea, together sweetened with natural sugar. Yum!
I have the tea bags but prefer loose leaf when I go to a favorite bookstore. The mint flavor is strong but not overwhelming. Tarragon adds a mild flavor change you can barely detect but enough you know there is more than two mints in the cup of relaxation.
I love that I can enjoy this tea anytime or mix with other teas for a flavor sensation!
