Zen Iced Green Tea

Green Tea by Tazo

A refreshing blend of green teas with spearmint and lemony flavors. Each filterbag brews one gallon of iced tea.

Its about time I review this since its pretty much my most enjoyed iced tea. I loved it before steepster, and still do, even after beginning my journey with loose-leaf at the start of this year.
I give this tea a 100 because it is tasty, refreshing, easily accessible from a local store, inexpensive, and fun to brew.

I prefer to make it myself instead of having it at starbucks and I use honey to sweeten.
I made a perfect pitcher of it once which came out absolutely amazing, but I haven’t been able to recreate it exactly for some reason, but I hope to figure it out eventually.

The tea is just so refreshing any time of day. I love that there’s spearmint in this instead of peppermint. The lemongrass and lemon verbana is perfectly blended. I don’t like many green teas so the fact that this is a favorite says a lot.

This is so gross. I hate the bottle I bought for iced tea (it sweats, if the opening isn’t a certain way it leaks) and I didn’t feel like cleaning it this morning so I needed tea between an appointment and class.

Bitter, terrible, finding a new bottle on the way home UGH. All I want is something that doesn’t sweat and can hold at least 24oz, and doesn’t cost more than $20. Sadface. This is what happens when you buy a sad bottle, you have to drink sad tea.

eta I am now wondering why I didn’t buy a nalgene bottle in the first place unless Target is just rude and sells them for $9.99 online only.

This is my standard order at Starbucks. The mix is very pleasing. I highly suggest trying a splash of lemonade, and either 8 pumps classic for a decently sweet drink or 2 pumps classic for a subtly sweet one.

This is a very refreshing iced tea on a hot day. I prefer it unsweetened.

My go-to iced beverage when on the go, MUCH better unsweetened! This is one of my favorite cold teas.

If you love tea, don’t go to Starbucks. Period.

I usually drink my tea hot, but this was good too.

A great mid-afternoon drink to help ward of the sleepiness that comes from studying. I rather enjoy having my iced green tea from Starbucks (or any coffee shop) as they do a better job preparing it for me. Today I’ve paired it with a pumpkin muffin, so the ginger really adds something to the flavor.

When I worked at Starbucks, I simply could not understand the popularity of this stuff. The iced green tea is made with their Zen tea, which I was never a fan of … the kind of mint they blended with the tea leaves always turned my stomach a little and made it taste cheap. The way it’s brewed doesn’t help … the water is too hot and they brew it extra strong, letting it sit on the counter and diluting it when someone orders it. For lack of better ways to say it, this is not my cup of tea.

I LOVE it when I just brew it cold with 2 tea bags (in 2 courts of water!).

Nice stufff ;)

This and the black tea is what I order at Starbucks. I like both, but I think I prefer the green tea. As I wrote for the black tea, I prefer sweetener with this, too. I prefer teas that don’t need extra sugar. But for a tea on the go, this is decent.
