Puttabong EX2 clonal queen sftgfop-1/Organic 1st flush 2012
A top of the line super premium tea of the season made at one of our most favorite plantation in Darjeeling. This tea has been plucked from the RR, P312 and AV2 high elevation clonal fields of this plantation. The dry leafs are kept small in size and consists of high amounts of needle like small silver tips and has a very bright greenish appearance and extremely delicious fruity aroma of fresh green apples and cucumber in this state . When steeped for about 3 minutes the cup releases a very bright liquor. Each sip is extremely smooth like silk and leaves fresh and fruity flavors of green apples and mangoes which further ends with a lemony after taste on the palate.
