Another gorgeous blend from Tea Guys, full of so many different pretty colors! This is also another one I only got a sample of, which of course I’m regretting already. I feel another order there coming on soon…

This tea is everything I wanted DT’s Strawberry Ginger to be. It’s light and sweet, with an almost honey-like taste from the white. The ginger is strong but not overpowering, giving the tea a bit of bite. It matches well with the tropical flavors from the papaya and pineapple, which keeps this from being a kind of generic pina colada-esque blend. Not that there’s anything wrong with that, but the addition of ginger makes this quite unique!

Backlog: Wow! I can’t believe I haven’t logged this one before, as it is one of my favorite white teas. I love the fresh fruit flavor of this, the ginger is zesty but doesn’t overwhelm. Just a beautiful medley of tastes. Here is my full-length review of it: http://www.teareviewblog.com/?p=11555

Thank you to LiberTeas for this one. This is a very pretty blend, lots of fruits and if I’m not mistaken, crystallised ginger in the leaf. This brewed up very light and a lovely clear green. It is actually quite refreshing and the ginger gives a nice warmth to the end of the sip

This was one of the many of sample sizes I got with my Tea Guys order at the beginning of this year. This is the first one that I have tried and it’s really pleasantly scented! I brewed a cup hot for myself and then cold brewed the rest for my smoothies. The fruity cup of goodness is very strong on the papaya and pineapple. Maybe it was just my sample, but I hardly got any ginger notes to speak of.
This was a strong tea ices, and I could taste it very distinctly through my green smoothie. Not that it was a bad thing, I’m just used to my tea in my smoothies is be a very light addition to them.
I am glad to have tried this tea both ways, and while I cannot say that it would be my fist choice for a repurchase, it was lovely to test out!

Note: this is was a listing for a white blend, Tea Guys sells this as a green and white blend. I’ll make the update in a second.
