This Taiwanese Grown Assam is somewhat lighter than a traditional Assam. It is full bodied like an Assam but delicate like a Darjeeling. It starts out grassy and earthy, and finishes smoothly, maintaining it’s vegetal character. The leaves unfurl to reveal surprising large leaves for such a refined tea. The un-steeped tea are long dark curls with a clean earthy aroma.
