From Tea Mountains

The Hehuanshan Hua-Gang Ning-Hsueh high mountain Oolong tea that Teamountains sells is harvested from the tea farms which are located around 2450 meters above the sea level at Tianchih area in Hehuan mountain, the quality of high mountain Oolong teas which are produced in this territory is very high, and also very famous in Taiwan as well. This high mountain Oolong tea area is a low temperature area, the average temperature is low throughout the year, snowing very often during Winter time, and it diverts cold water from Hehuan river to irrigate these tea farms, making these tea trees grow under the elements of low temperature, cold water and long growth time, those are very important factors for producing high quality high mountain Oolong tea.

Because the tea trees are covered in snow often, therefore tea leaves grow very slowly, letting the tea leaves become more plump. Plump tea leaves will make the tea’s aftertaste last longer and sweeter, and also allowing the tea leaves to be brew for more times. That is why Hehuanshan Hua-Gang Ning-Hsueh high mountain Oolong tea has been so popular with tea lovers for decades.
