Sweet and grassy with finely tart and slightly spicy finish.
Steamed green tea from the Fujiyama prefecture of Japan, harvested in the early summer (the second flush). Its deep emerald green leaf colour belies a delicate, grassy flavour, with a somewhat astringent sweetness.
Sencha tea is perfect for drinking after a meal and is reputed to be very good for the digestion.
