I taste a lot of pear in this. Lots of fruity notes and more floral after the 3rd steep. Very enjoyable.

Emeralds in the Dew is an unusual Chinese green tea because it has both delicious flavor elements and a full-bodied mouth feel.
We look for green teas that have substantial body and heft on the palate: not only are these qualities pleasing but they are welcome characteristics of green tea that are often not present. Our tea enthusiast customers are always delighted to discover that we often have green teas in our selection that feature this rich, viscous heft without heading into the kelpy ‘green-ness’ of steamed green tea manufactured in Japan.
Similar to Dragon Whiskers and Korea’s Jungjak, Emeralds in the Dew prefers a slightly cooler steeping temperature and may need a bit more steeping time, but the wait is well worth it. This tea is surprisingly flavorful and will drink nicely either hot, room temperature, or even cold.You may find that this tea prefers to steep for a longer time in cooler water.
