We finished it off this morning – not terribly thrilling, but an ok English Breakfast blend from TeaGschwender. Now I have to tackle an almost entirely full bag of their Strawberry Cream before my guilty conscience gets the better of me…

I usually go to Irish or Scottish Breakfast tea blends, since I like strong Assam leaning. This is an original blend, with them adding Darjeeling in the mix. I feel it needs no cream or sugar, as it’s not as astringent as some, which when I rate, I add to the score. It’s around medium level of astringency. I don’t know yet if it stands out enough for me to purchase again. I might have to re-review it if I make it into an iced tea.
