Ceylon Paradise (470)

Green Tea by TeaGschwendner

An effortless marriage of premium Green Ceylon and refreshingly bright lemon grass. Brisk at first then settling into a buttery finish. Paradise is about achieving just the right balance.

This green tea provides a nice vegetal, grassy briskness right of the cup. As its (pleasant) harshness dissipates, it gently calms into a lingering butter finish. The lemongrass is so faint that it is hardly noticeable. I think it adds to the briskness lightly. Overall, I recommend this tea, giving it a 3.5 tea leaves (out of 5). Simple and enjoyable.

Decent, but a bit bland for my tastes. Leaves are high quality, and the liquor is quite appealing. I’ll drink through the sample, but probably wouldn’t buy more.

Green tea and lemongrass, just the summery lift I needed on a winter’s day. (And not just any green tea, Ceylon green at that. Interesting.) Come summer, this will make a lovely iced pitcher.
