It could be my imagination, but this doesn’t taste as sweet as the other caramel rooibos blends that I’ve tried – which is a good thing! Comfortingly caramely, this makes for a delicious dessert drink if you add a splash of milk.
Take note rooibos haters, that woodchip/piney/some-part-of-a-tree taste mostly takes a back seat for this one, so drink up!

This is such a good tea. I am thankful for this sample from Rachel. Thank you! It is great with sweetener and milk. The creaminess stands out more. Without it, the taste is mild, but the scent is strong and sweet.

I think this would be a great tea, if caramel and rooibos were your things. I’m more of a fruity tea drinker, so it’s passable for me.

The caramel taste is stronger than the rooibos, the rooibos is present more in the back while the caramel is in the front.

Got this as a surprise Christmas gift from an Aunt who picked it out on a whim. I’m very happy for that whim! This is fantastic! Sweet but not too sweet and smoooooooooooooth. I’ll have to try it with a dash of milk as the other reviewers suggest.

I would note that it does not rebrew well so adjust the cost accordingly if you bank on that when calculating the cost of the tea.

I can’t believe how delicious this smells in the bag- I wanted to lick the package, I really did. It’s like the best toffee/caramel corn you can imagine, but when brewed it avoids being sickeningly sweet and imparts just a hint of sweetness. It’s odd, but I do still taste a bit of a ‘corn’ note to it (yes, actual corn), and am intrigued by how little the rooibos taste comes through- seems like those who like dessert teas but not rooibos could still cope with this one. Probably good with any kind of milk, although I haven’t tried it. This one doesn’t need any sweetener.

Gahhhhh I ordered too much of this tea and even though I still LIKE it, I’m pretty sick of it. I grit my teeth and drink it regularly to try to get through it. Maybe I should start turning it into tea lattes.

I’ve been looking for a good rooibos since TG discontinued Rooibush Kuruman. I usually find rooibos teas too weak or too woody, so I steep this for 7 minutes. It smells like candy in the bag, but the sweetness is really very mild. Not a strong flavor but it’s very smooth and makes you feel cozy.

Not worth rebrewing, sadly.

I enjoyed this in a late night at the office. I usually don’t like flavored teas, but it was good. The slide bars aren’t working for me, but I steeped it for five minutes at 212 degrees.
