These hand-rolled pearls contain pure tips of silvery spring tea scented with jasmine. Our Jasmine Pearl brews a more fragrant and complex cup than our Yin Hao, and it is beautiful to watch the pearls unfurl during the steeping process. Ours is IMO-certified organic.
Our Jasmine Pearl is produced in the Chinese province of Fujian. Each pearl consists of tender shoots of tea leaves and buds, and is naturally scented with fresh jasmine flowers. Up to six layers of jasmine blossoms are applied to the leaves, creating a beautifully strong jasmine aroma. Once the jasmine scent is fully merged with the leaves, the petals are removed and the tea is carefully dried again.
