Black Tea by Tealish

Who can argue the awesomeness of a holiday where you get to have fun spinning dreidels, winning chocolate coins, and eating jelly doughnuts?! With black tea, creamy chocolate, and luscious strawberries this tea is the perfect partner for those rich Hannukah treats we all love!

Thank you to DaisyChubb for sending me this … this is a tea I’ve wanted to try for a while now, so thank you so much for giving me this opportunity!

This is so yummy! Berry sweet, chocolate-y rich and it has a satisfying baked cake kind of taste to it too. Very smooth, not overly astringent, very rich and delicious. Decadent even.

This is one to add to the shopping list when the holiday season arrives.

Oh my gooosh! My TeaLish order came today!
If you get a chance to try this company, I’m in love. Super fast shipping time, free shipping for Canadians over $50, an amazing winter sale and so many unique blends… yes!

This was my first one to try. Mm it was simple but satisfying. The strawberry held it’s own against the chocolate, and I got a bakey smell and taste! The boy thought it was just so-so, but I think this is a nice treat that doesn’t overwhelm the tastebuds.

Thanks Tealish, for amazing customer service!! (They even handwrote a little think you note ^^ ee!)

I had this one again to compare to other chocolate/strawberry teas, and sadly I got a suuuuper sour taste to the flavouring this time :(
So much it gave me heartburn.

To be fair, I’ve had this tea since Christmas, and since it is chock full of chocolate chips, it might not have aged well.

Nothing a little cream and sugar can’t counter, but not my favourite chocolate strawberry blend. I still have half a tin to finish up, eep!

This tea is very fun. It looks just like the photo, with big red strawberry chunks and chocolate chips. It also smells totally awesome, kind of like candy but not so cloyingly sweet. I think maybe it smells sweetly bake-y, so I guess I’m getting the “donuts” part.

It’s very tasty and holds up to my hopes, but it’s not out of the ordinary. Chocolate, strawberry, malty black tea. You can’t go wrong with such a combination, really. This made a nice first cup of the day at 5 pm (the horror!).

I’m enjoying another cup of this at the moment. But, Steepster, I have the actual worst tea news ever: my Breville carafe broke about an hour ago. I had the shakes from a quick drop in blood sugar and somehow managed to drop it. I don’t really understand how, but it was absolutely heart-wrenching! Even worse, while you can buy the base and assorted other parts for the tea maker, it looks like, for some reason, you cannot buy just the carafe as a replacement part.

Please wish me luck in coping without it/plotting a replacement strategy that seems impossible this time of year!

OMG! I’m in LOVE!
Daisy Chubb sent this to me and I really think I am going to have to place an order! WOW!!!!

This smells amazing! Berries, chocolate, bake-y/bready – YUM!!!! The jelly donut factor is certainly there! The strawberries and chocolate are terrific and scrumptious! The black tea base is lovely…WOW! It’s also malty and smooth.

There is a lot of wonderful things going on in this tea and I haven’t really felt like this about a “dessert/noveltea” like this in a while. This ranks right up there with Spice Exchange’s Almond Cookie Tea…WOW! LOVE THIS!!!!!
