From Tealux

Yunnan tea is grown in the mountainous Yunnan Province of Southwest China, and is renowned all over the world as a distinctive, popular brew among lovers of high quality black teas.

Our Yunnan Imperial tea is, as the name suggests, an exceptionally high quality Yunnan tea, sourced from the most renowned and respected tea plantations of the region. Instantly identifiable by its soft, succulent and luscious golden leaves, liberally interspersed with fresh bright buds, Yunnan Imperial leaves are soft and smooth to the touch, with a distinctive mellow and yet infinitely complex tea aroma that is simply unmistakable.

Brewing up with a rich and deep yet never overpowering peppery taste, the roundness and flavor of our Yunnan Imperial tea is often imitated but never matched! Yunnan Imperial really is, as the name suggests, fit for an Emperor, or any other tea connoisseur!

Steep lightly in hot water for a few minutes before serving.

This is the second time I’ve taken this tea to work, and this is the second time I’ve been disappointed. I don’t know what it is about this one, but I don’t like it.
I tried less leaf, and shorter steeps. Nope I still just don’t like it.
Into the swap box it goes.
(If my glowing recommendation has enticed anyone to want to try this, please let me know – I’ll be more than happy to send you some)
