Yep, a super strong tea. Delicious with some maple syrup (Sil, your suggestions have created a problem) and cream.

I need to finish this because I still have just over 100g of English Breakfast my mom got me last Christmas. She believes in large amounts of tea – see the 250g bag of Earl Grey I’m only “almost” finished because I gave about 50g away to a friend. Where “almost” finished means I have a bit less than 50g in the cupboard. I’ve been working on that one for almost 3 years now. :/

So yes. This is one of the older teas in my cupboard, and I do like it for a morning kick in the pants. I prefer the cream Irish Breakfast from Tealux (mmm, cream teas), and the English Breakfast my mom gave me.

hahaha i drink 98% of all my teas straight….but keemuns get maple syrup because there’s something about that blend. Also, similar to this, breakfast blends get it sometimes too. it’s just the right type of sweetner.

OMGsrsly

I love a bit of honey in my teas, but maple syrup is quickly taking over as my preferred sweetener! I still need to try it in Russian Caravan, but a smoky tea requires a certain type of morning. :)

Very robust strong tasting tea eventhough only used a bit less than 1 teaspoon. Past days I had cream irish breakfast also from tealux and comparing them I prefer the other than this.I always taste just plain and after some sips of this will add sugar. Some brown sugar would also work for such a strong tea. This tea really wakes you up.Glad I only bought a sample.
