From Teamania

Winter 2012

This oolong is from Doi Mae Salong, Thailand. The tea leaves are only picked in winter. The slow growth in winter helps to develop the complex flavors.

Backlog:

A really lovely Oolong. VERY nice!

Floral tones: flowery in taste and aroma … I tasted honeyed orchid. The honey-sweet tones are also evocative of honeysuckle. It’s a very mild tea … it has a very soft, gentle taste from start to finish. A very enjoyable, complex tea.

Another from Nicole_Martin! :-)

I like the fresh, ginseng-like quality to this tea and the delicious milkiness. There is a bright coppery note that I’m not overly fond of- It’s just a shade too strong to be completely pleasant.
