Dragonheart

This was… well, it was different!
The bamboo was very nutty and left an odd vegetal aftertaste in my mouth… it reminded me of asparagus or some other vegetable I can’t quite place.
Also, this tea was very thick. I found that it caught in my throat as I swallowed, right before the vegetal taste kicks in. It was almost as if my body was protesting the suggestion of liquid vegetable. ha!
I’m glad I tried it, but will definitely not be buying any of this one. I entirely missed out on the pomegranate to :(

The ingredients of this tea really intrigued me and when I opened the canister, there were long white, plastic like tendrils in it that made me wary. However, this was a pretty nice tea, it was sweet and a tiny bit grassy, reminded me of salt water taffy in flavour. A sweet white tea that’s almost like a green!

Lightly flavored white. Nice balance between the pomegranate and bamboo.

DragonHeart is a very light tasting, wonderful smelling and delicious tea, suitable for any time of day. I tried it on the recommendation of Teaopia staff, and I absolutely love it. I take it with me to work daily, in my tea steeper travel mug. I sincerely hope that Teavana continues to carry it.

How can you have a bad day when you start it out by drinking a cup of Dragonheart? You can’t. It’s impossible. One cup of this and you’ll be dragon-slaying all day. Epic.

This tea caught my eyes, love the smell, it was smooth to drink but I wanted more of the pomergrant flavor. It left after taste in my mouth. But over all it a tea that I would recommend to someone who doesn’t drink tea often, it really light taste.
