Thanks jessiwrites!

I’m trying to finish off all my one or two cup sample bags before we leave next week – and trying to get as many swaps in the mail as possible – with any luck all the teas sitting on my counter waiting to leave will be in the mail by the weekend. I’m also trying to decide which teas to bring with me. Any suggestions would be much appreciated :)

This smells quite lovely steeped. This is a lovely black tea. The black tea base tastes like a breakfast tea, which I love. The peppercorns are so great in this just adding enough spice to make this perfect. I can taste the cloves as well, but I’m not so sure about the orange peel.

I’m really enjoying this tea. It’s a nice mid-morning tea that isn’t a plain black but not too flavourful either. A great balance.

So BEST part about this whole Teavana buying Teaopia thing is that everything in store is cheap!!! Got a black tea tower for half price, who’s excited- me!!!
Anyway, this was good. Not fabulous, but a very solid black tea that I quite enjoyed. The black tea itself was mild and I found the spice bend to be subtle and pleasing. The cinnamon was the strongest flavour, so I only recommend this if you like cinnamon! Overall, considering what I paid for it, I was very very pleased!

I’m really enjoying this, the spices are perfect and I enjoy the sweet cinnamon flavor that seems to be strongest. I usually prefer the second steep for most teas… except black. We’ll see how this one holds up. But this first taste is delicious, I’m glad my dad shared a bit with me.

Second steep is still delightful. This is a great tea, I’m really enjoying it while I cough on my couch and watch Mulan. Haha! It reminds me of cinnamon hearts, which are my favorite candy ever. Win.

Also, I introduced a friend to loose leaf tea last night, and she texted me already this morning saying that she’s craving tea for breakfast. Success!

This tea tastes so delicious. Spicy like a chai… but better? It’s more of a candy spice, so yummy. I did get a hint of sweet (which could have been a result of not rinsing my cup well enough), I`m hoping on the next brew that sweetness is gone, if so this tea definetly gets bumped up.

I’m actually loving this more than chai now! It tastes and smells like cinnamon heart candies, in a good way. It is complimented very well with some sugar, and makes a delicious latte!

This smelled close to cinnamon hearts with some light grassy notes as well. The taste was lighter than most Chai that I’ve had, slightly spicy on the back of the throat. Oily citrus feeling on the tongue and a bit bitter aftertaste, which is welcomed. This tea was oddly vegetal for a black tea and had a nice tannin dryness to it, but not chalky. As it cooled, it became sweeter and the spices developed more. Second steep had more spice, but the flavours started to dwindle. This tea is delicious cold!

I was expecting this tea to be a bit too strong once I smelled it but once brewed it was delicious. I love the spices in it.
